Message from Head

Welcome to the Department of Urban & Regional Planning. It is one of the leading planning departments in the North Bengal of Bangladesh with excellent educational and research activities. We offer both undergraduate and postgraduate program.

The classes and laboratories are designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to flourish in today's dynamic and competitive environment. With the help of our world class education and dedicated faculty members, we ensure that every student reaches their full potential and emerges as a pioneer in various fields including Urban Planning, Rural and Regional Panning, Transportation Panning, Environment, Geographic Information System, Remote Sensing and Disaster Management.

The very active students of this department are constantly reaching out to various competitions and winning positions almost every time. The URP Students Association of RUET and the esteemed alumni provide continuous support to our department's success. We continue our endeavour to enhance the quality of programs, and welcome students to be a part of URP family, RUET.
